California. Yeahh Buddy!

This summer, my family went on a week long vacation. We went to California. On the morning of June 4, we were up by 3:30 in the morning and we were on the road by 4:00. Our drive was about two hours long and we finally got to Omaha at about 6:15. Our flight didn't fly out until 8:30. I was so mad. While we waited we went and got some breakfast and then we just sat there waiting. We went with some family friends and one of them was in my grade so I figured the plane ride wouldn't be so bad. Finally 8:30 came and we were able to get on the plane. I was really nervous because I had never flown before and I didn't know what it was going to be like. I was really scared of my ears popping because that's what everyone told me happened, but throughout the whole plane ride, my ears didn't pop once. We had to switch planes in Arizona and from there we flew out to California. As soon as we were off the plane and had all of our luggage, we went to get a rental car and were off to the hotel. Our first day we didn't really do much because we just wanted to relax. We just sat by the pool area and hung out. The next day my mom and my friends mom were running a half marathon in the morning, so our activities didn't start until later on that day. When we finally got to do something, we went to the safari. It was actually really cool. The next day we went to Sea World and we got to watch the dolphin show. That was one of the best parts. I never would've thought dolphins could do the things they did. There were a few rides and it was kind of cold that day so the wet rides were not fun at all. On Tuesday we went to Disney World and it was so much fun. The walking around wasn't very fun, but once we got onto the rides, the waiting and walking didn't seem so bad. On Wednesday we went to Universal Studios in Hollywood and personally that was my favorite day. We went on the ride "The Haunted Hotel" and it was so fun. Thursday and Friday we were back at Disney Land and my family got to see some family members that live in California that we don't see very often. On Friday night right before we left we watched the water colors show in Disney Land and the colors showed scenes from The Little Mermaid, Lion King, and many other cartoons. The next night when I finally got home, I was relieved to finally be home, but I wanted to go back to California so bad. That trip was a memory I'll never forget.

netflix.

Netflix CEO, Reed Hastings is crystal clear on how people view his company’s brand, no matter how bad or good the his recent choices have been. Some of Hastings’ comments were frank and rueful about Netflix’s mistakes at the UBS Media conference in New York on Tuesday. The troubles with Nexflix in 2011 began when it announced it would charge separate prices for its DVDs by mail and streaming video games. In September is when the real debacle came in. Qwixter was announced, by Netflix, to be the new re-branded name for the DVDs. Because the customers raged so much, Netflix pulled a stunning reversal a few weeks later and cancelled the entire Qwixter plan. Hastings still didn’t shy away from the philosophy behind Qwikster. He downplayed the DVD business many times times during his talk. Last month,m Netflix had payments of more than $3.5 billion over the next few years.

It relates to me because my family uses Netflix monthly.

Warning: Coming Out Alive Is Not Likely. BOO!

The story I'm about to tell is a story that always scared me when I was little. This is how it goes. There was a couple driving through Dedham and they hit a dead end. They came to a stop in front of an old house that had been abandoned for over 15 years. The couple was curious so the woman went inside to check out the house. As she went inside, the man walked around outside to see how old some of the yard decorations were. While the woman walked around inside, she heard glass shatter upstairs. Not thinking much about it, she went upstairs to see what had fallen. As she reached the top of the stairs, something shattered downstairs. As bad thoughts filled her mind she ran back down the steps and out the front door. The minute she stepped out of the house, the first thing she saw was blood dripping on the car from the tree above it. As she got to the tree, she found her boyfriend in the tree, dead. He had stabs all over his body and a hole in his head from a bullet. Crying, the woman turned around and saw a black figure walking into the house. The figure turned around and when he has the woman he smiled at her, dropped his knife, and ran inside.

Ever babysat late at night? Yeah, scary sometimes. Legends of late night babysitters have left jitters down my spine. There was a babysitter who was babysitting late at night for a young couple so they could go out for dinner. The teenager came over to the couples house 10 minutes before they left. A couple hours passed and the teenager finally put the 10-month old baby to bed. She went into the parents room to watch t.v because they had a big screen. As she layed in bed, she spotted a clown statue in the corner of the room. She got up and went to the closet to cover up the clown. They girl lie back down in the bed and fell asleep. Later, she woke up to thumping, but didn't think anything of it, so she fell back asleep. About an hour later she woke up again the thumping. She finally got out of bed to check on the baby, everything was fine. She went back into the parents rooms, but as she walked in, the clown statue was gone. With her heart beating extremely fast, the teenager turned around to go back to the baby's room. Right as she turned around, the clown was right behind her blocking the doorway. When the baby's parents came home, they found the teenagers head sitting on their bed with a note. When the closet door was opened, the couple found the teenagers body and they're strangled baby.
